This late 19th Century hand carved walnut fireplace screen features a floral and foliage Petit Point center with surrounding flowers and background created from Needlepoint. The hand carved pediment also has a floral motif and the sturdy frame rests on carved scrolled feet. The close up photographs of the wood help authenticate the age and the condition is commensurate with age and includes some scuffs and a few places of uneven wood tones, mostly on the feet.
