PLEASE NOTE: THIS LISTING IS FOR THE LAMP SHADE ONLY, NOT A COMPLETE LAMP. THE SHADE WAS PLACED IN A LAMP FRAME IN A FEW OF PICTURES, TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE IN THAT SETTING, AND ALSO WHAT KIND OF A LAMP IT IS DESIGNED TO FIT. I've collected antique lamps and shades for many years, but now my wife and I have decided to pass some of them on to good people like you. This is a HAND PAINTED 14 wide shade designed for an antique hanging lamp with prisms, such as the one shown. It is original, hand blown, and rings like a bell if you tap it with your thumb.

The bottom and top edges are rounded, and NOT flat and rough like a reproduction would be. It is 5 1/2" high, and the top opening is 5" wide. I have found no evidence of chips, cracks, or other damage to the glass, and the hand painting is in the same excellent original condition. Please consider that this lamp shade is an antique, and by its very nature of being old, is not "dead mint" or perfect.
