An antique solid silver brooch; set with a finely hand crafted micromosaic depicting Pliny's Doves, in a polished black glass surround. High quality, very attractive & extremely collectable... CONDITION : All original and generally very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. A few nicks/scratches to glass surround, not readily noticeable. DIMENSIONS : 44 x 37 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
