Antique Royal Worcester Parian Ware Porcelain MRS HADLEY'S Hand Vase c. Rare antique 19th century Royal Worcester Parian hand vase designed by James Hadley. This vase was and allegedly modelled on the hand of Hadley's wife. Her hand is supporting a Grecian urn. The interior and exterior of the vase has a glazed finish, the exterior is decorated with gold gilt on the bracelet and the aqua blue painted urn.

The bracelet is accented with turquoise beads. Marked with an impressed crown and wheel mark for Royal Worcester to the base and an English diamond registration mark.

Also, marked with the Royal Worcester stamp with the number 65 below it. Condition: In very good preowned condition with wear consistent to age. There is a superficial hairline by the sidd of the index finger (see picture #11). Some gold gilt wear by the top of the rim. Also, there is faint fine crazing throughout the vase that is mostly visible under bright light. No chips, cracks or repairs. If there are any other minor flaws, they are natural from the making.

Comes as found, as made and as seen. Parian ware is a type of biscuit porcelain that was made to imitate carved marble. It was also contemporaneously referred to as Statuary Porcelain by Copeland.
