Antique Victorian Cranberry Glass Hand Painted Pickle Castor withSP Stand & Tongs

Gorgeous antique hand-painted, dimpled cranberry glass pickle castor in a Victorian silver-plated footed stand! It was made by E.

Webster & Son, NY and is marked on the base "Quadruple Plate Hard White Metal with the arm and hammer and the number 44". The stand measures 12.25" tall x 6.25" wide x 3.75 deep. The tongs are 7 long.

The hand-painted, dimpled (Or IVT - inverted thumb print) cranberry jar measures 4.25" tall x 3.25" across without lid and is 6.25 with lid. There are chips/flakes to the bottom of the jar (which cannot be seen while in stand) that do not affect the integrity of the jar. The hand-painted flowers and leaves are intact without scratches or loss of paint. The Webster logo dates this piece to the late 1800's.

There is some loss of plate to the lid and the stand will need a good polish. Tongs are ornate and not warped. The stand sits level and the jar fits perfectly. Please see pics and zoom/enlarge as they are a part of the description.
