Antique Victorian Handmade Hand Made Large Collar Cape Tatting Tatted Lace

ANTIQUE VINTAGE VICTORIAN LARGE FRAMED LACE COLLAR - HANDMADE. This is huge for a collar - when worn it would be almost like a little cape or shrug. Framed 19th Century handmade lace collar. Laid Flat the Collar measures approx 69cm diameter. From top to bottom worn the collar is 21cm deep.

Light wood frame which looks home made. The frame are set with clear perspex rather than glass - oddly this frame isnt completely flat - the frame does flex - I placed a book in the middle to flatten it and that does work although it then flexes back after a while. It doesnt affect the collar itself in any way - but you should be aware that the frame is like this. Very Good Vintage pre-owned condition.
