Victorian Mother of Pearl, Gauze, & Spangles Folding Hand Fan with box
A nice Victorian fan with ribbon and lace work at top and bottom edge of the gauze leaf and spangles on the leaf. The box from Frederick Loeser & Co, Brooklyn (in the day a large department store) is associated with this fan. The fan has 14 mother of pearl sticks with bone leaves at 7-3/8" and the fan when open is 13-3/8" wide.
The fan has mother of pearl washers, a white metal loop with a ring for a tassel, and a white metal rivet. Please contact me with any questions or additional photos.
