1880s Unbleached Blouse White/Cream Linen Full Sleeve Lots of Hand Embroidery

Absolutely stunning , rich unbleached linen victorian blouse. It is totally hand embroidered with daisies and vines on. The front and the cuffs. This a very dramatic top.

This top buttons down the front with hidden closure. Neckline had at some point had a separate collar. All button holes hand sewn. This blouse has a very full pigeon chest which would give a lady. That perfect s-bend silhouette that was so popular in late 1800`s. The top has very full cut "Bishop" like sleeves, with lace insert. The back has the original panel with grommets to attach the skirt.

Material : Unbleached white / cream linen. Across back between shoulders : 13. On each sleeve slight light brown smudges. Repair on the back left. + Great : Worn but near perfect.

Small signs here and there. Pinholes barely detectable flaws, remember it is vintage. Good: Still wearable but needs repair new zippers, small holes , fading repairs, etc. Fair : Most likely not wearable for study or pattern making. We want you to love your new vintage items as much as we do!
