19C French Carved Mother of Pearl & Inlaid Gold Fan w Hand Painted Scenes #4. Nineteenth-Century Large French Hand Fan with Artist Signed Paper Panels and Carved Mother of Pearl Sticks. The Hand Painted on Paper Panels include the Center Panel which is two Goddesses and a Cherub floating on a Cloud. The two Smaller Panels are both Cherubs with their Bows & Arrows, floating on Clouds.

The Sticks on this Fan are absolutely incredible Looking! They are all hand-carved Mother of Pearl with Intricate Lacy Inlaid Gold. The Fan is a rather large one. It measures 11" and has an Open width of 21". I could find no faults to the Fan other than appropriate Aging.

The Fan has been Custom Framed in a Gold Leaf Frame with a Blue Shantung Silk background. The Framed Size is 28" x 21" and is 2 deep. The Frame is in Excellent Condition. Please ask any questions before purchasing. I was fortunate enough to find a lot of Antique Fans, one Prettier than the next.
