Victorian Brooch on a Stand, Hand-Painted on Porcelain and Signed. Delicately hand-painted and signed from the mid-1800's. The brooch has a tripod stand on the back, as well as a loop to hang it with. It is 3" tall and 2" wide. It is possible that Daisy is the name given to the girl rather than the signature of the artist.

This beautiful Victorian era brooch is from the mid- to late-1800's and is a painting of Ruth from the Bible. I don't know where it was painted, but the backing was likely done in the United States.

It measures 2" x 1 ¾" and weighs 32 grams. There are surface scratches on the painting. Tarnish on the silver gives it a beautiful patina commensurate with its age of more than 100 years.
