Antique 14k Gold Ring with Hand Painted Victorian Child 8.71 g

This antique ring features a striking & beautifully painted porcelain portrait of a Victorian child in their nightgown and cap set in 14k yellow gold. The ring is a size 8, the porcelain is 1 round. Overall weights 8.71 grams. I do not see a14k mark on the ring but it tested 14k. The portrait has areas of missing paint, please review pictures.

Also, please note that the overhead light is reflecting on the piece. The ring comes with a porcelain box that is marked Limoges on bottom. Great condition, no chips or cracks, the metal has some tarnish. Since the box is porcelain the ring sits in the box for display only, it is not a snug fit. When I acquired this the ring it came in the limoges box but I cannot confirm that the ring is by Limoges.
