Up for sale is this antique 1848 bound volume of Graham's Magazine. This volume contains the first printings of the 10th, 11th, and 12th installments of Edgar Allan Poe's Marginalia. The issues for 1848 and is nicely illustrated with 5 hand colored fashion plates and approximately 27 black and white engravings.
It lacks just a few of the plates called for. The book is overall in good- condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers have a bit of scuffing and wear with some corner wear and edge wear. There is some partial cracking to the joints (especially to the upper portion of the back joint), but the binding of the book is still good and sound. The front endpapers have a little damage to the paper near the hinge.
The interior is toned from age with foxing through out and some scattered light soiling & grubbiness. That there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, etc. Generally though, it's a decent copy.Measures approximately 10 1/8 inches by 6 3/8 inches.
