Antique 19th Century Black Forest Hand Carved Wood Smokers/Hall Chair. Superb and quite rare late 19th Century Black Forest carved wood smokers chair.

Very nicely hand-carved with wine vines , grapes and a hunting dog on barley twist legs. Measures 28.25"tall by 18.5" across overall. Actual seat height is around 15" and measures 16" across at widest point. In very good usable antique condition, great character, well made with a great aged warm patina showing through. The chair is very usable and sturdy.

Has some old restoration on the back as shown, nothing major but noted. There is some age related marking on the chair as you would expect from around 140 years old with minor age related shrinkage with a little warpage. As with age there are some minor losses, small chips, etc. Nice size which will go just about anywhere with a wide range of uses. Will display well in any period or contemporary setting. Has wear and tear commensurate with age and use. All photos taken outside in good daylight. Weighing around 6.900 kilos unwrapped.
