Antique Fedoskino Russian Hand Painted on Mother of Pearl Brooch. A miniature painting on Mother of Pearl Pin with lacquer over the painting.

Done in the 1890's. The River Scene with trees shimmers on the Mother of Pearl.

The brooch is bezel set in a Silver tone brooch with a C clasp on the back. Measures 2 x 1.5The metal is called typically German Silver although it is made of nickel copper and zinc. The brooch is very beautiful and in excellent condition with the only possible flaw being the pin on the back is slightly bent. Fedoskino has become a Style of painting.
