The handpainted portrait is of a Tyrolean boy in a green hat, this was a popular motif for jewelry in Victorian times, sometimes called "vagabond boy".. Nicely hand painted on ceramic.. Trusted rope edge brass frame... Measures 1 1/4" wide x 1 7/8" L... Unsigned, this a gorgeous portrait by a talented unknown artist..
