Antique Portrait Brooch Miniature Cameo Hand Painted Porcelain Victorian Pin. We are currently offering for sale this elegant Victorian Miniaturize hand painted on porcelain Cameo, portrait brooch, pin, in gold gilded brass mounting. It appears the mountings were made at two different times. First the bezel around the miniature portrait of the bride. Then later the outer embellished gold gilded hand made boarder mount to which the brooch hardware is attached.
The outer mount was had some soldering from the addition. The painting is well done and in excellent vintage condition. The back of the brass mounting has an aged patina. It is an original portrait which is completely hand painted. It measures approx 2 1/4" x 2".The previous owner has the C clasp replaced with a rollover safety clasp for more secure wear. It is clean and ready wear, add to your collection or be gift wrapped.
