Absolutely fantastic, versatile, fun and unusual chain necklace! Chain: 10K, Double-side fancy link hand made chain is measuring 42.0 inches (not including the 14K Gold tassel and 14K Gold locket 2 inches long) comprised from alternating double ring interlocking finely textured yellow gold. The links have open center. Chain does not have a clasp and terminate on one end with the long antique 14K yellow gold braided strands tassel and on the other end with a antique Victorian 14K yellow Gold Locket (which opens and snaps closed) set with 5 round natural seed pearls in fancy 3 D gold scrolls design attached on top..
Slide: 14K, yellow gold shield shape slide is adorned with finely. Two tone gold crest with wings design composed in a combination of yellow gold (wings) and pink gold (raised crest shaped emblem). This necklace is further decorated with one large tassel in solid 14K yellow gold on one side chain end. Wheat style 12 individual woven chain tassels inside a yellow gold capped head with decorative round gold ball terminals and suspend freely on matching chain links.
How to wear: I have came up with two ways to wear this chain. Folded over in half and the slide is centered on the front, tassel & locket on the back of the neck. Chain can be worn doubled or tripled while the slide is all the way by the ends of locket and tassel. Chain is not marked but has been tested in several places including slide, large tassel and locket and guaranteed to be 10K on the chain and 14K for the locket & tassel. Very minimal signs of age and no damages.The locket looks to be in. Perfect condition and functions (opens and snaps closed fine)... Both the large gold tassel and gold slide are in excellent condition without faults..
