We offer for sale this stunning Victorian hand painted portrait / cameo of a courting couple. This appears to be a one of a kind piece portrait of a courting couple.

The painting is well done and in good vintage condition. It has a stunning pinchbeck mount with ornate metal work with carved and engraved rose and foliage pattern around the bezel. It has a glass cover and a brass back plate. The metal work is detailed, well done and in excellent vintage condition. Mount is unmarked and unsigned.

It closes with a trombone Clasp. The portrait is painted on wafer. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready to wear or gift wrap.
