Antique Victorian Cameo Portrait Brooch Courting Couple Roses Gold Hand Painted. We are offering for sale this stunning Victorian hand painted portrait / cameo of a courting couple. This appears to be a one of a kind miniature portrait of a courting couple. The painting is well done and in good vintage condition. It has been protect by the glass cover, It has a lovely yellow gold tone metal, pinchbeck, mount with ornate metal work similar to repousse, engraved rose and foliage pattern around the mounting. Glass cover and brass back plate are also in good condition. The metal work is detailed, well done and in excellent vintage condition. Mount is unmarked and unsigned. It closes with a trombone Clasp. The portrait is painted on wafer. I have not opened it. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready to wear or gift wrap. Metal has a light patina and or light tarnish. All serious & reasonable and serious will be considered.
