Antique Victorian pierced clarified horn and paper leaf fan, which has been hand painted with Georgian scene to the front. The fan is held together via a brass pin, set with green rhinestone. AGE The fan would date to circa 1870 SIZE The fan measures 39cm (15½") across when opened to it's fullest, and is 22cm (8¾") long. CONDITION The fan is in a good condition for age, although two of the sticks have come away from the leaf and are loose, so these would need to be re-attached, plus the horn has warped a little with age.

There are several fine crease tears to the paper leaf, especially to the front guard. Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition. The fan would date to circa 1870.

The fan measures 39cm (15½") across when opened to it's fullest, and is 22cm (8¾") long. The fan is in a good condition for age. Although two of the sticks have come away from the leaf and are loose, so these would need to be re-attached, plus the horn has warped a little with age.
