Gold tone metal, chrysocolaa cuprite stone. This hand-chased convertible Victorian brooch/penadnt features a large polished chrysocolla cuprite oval stone bezel set in gold-tone metal (possibly gold filled/plated or brass). The frame surrounding the stone is ornately engraved with a leaf motif and accented with hanging balls, chains and a gold-capped fringed tassel. A wonderful example of classic Victorian jewelry design, this brooch looks gorgeous pinned to a tweed blazer or strung on a cord and worn around your neck.
