Antique Victorian Hand Carved / Pierced Mother Of Pearl Brise Fan

Antique Fan, FAcher, Eventail, Ventaglio, Abanico Legyezo, Leque, Ogi, Uchiwa. 19th Century French HAND CARVED MOTHER OF PEARL BRISE FAN. It has 22 mother of pearls sticks. The pierced work on the sticks is wonderful. The Mother of Pearl has beautiful iridescent of rainbow colors in light and they are connected with a metal ring loop and includes in each side a shiny stone. Attached to the ring it has a original silk tassel. The ribbon that connects the sticks is in very good condition. Totally Open 15 3/4 (40 cm). Sticks 8 5/8 (22 cm).

Silk tassel long 13 33 cms. One guard has been restored, shown in pictures. The fan open and close appropriately.
