Antique Victorian Hand Embroidered Unused Dress Collar & Cuffs Metal Threads

Hand embroidered in vibrant silks and metal threads on a pale blue silk satin. Would have been cut and added to a beautiful blue satin dress but was never used. Been stored for such a long time. The coloured silk in the flowers are so vibrant. The metal thread which looks to be real silver has tarnished with age and time, there is a very tiny hole in the satin, i think if used this would be stitched with in the seam but i'm pointing out its there. I didn't see it first time around its so small. The design looks to be for the front of the bodice with a waist band, collar and cuffs. Its so beautiful it needs to be framed or used used in a reprodution period dress for film or television. Its stunning and in lovely condition, i personally have not seen anything like this in this amazing condition. The whole thing (blue satin) is 57cm x 52cm.
