Antique Victorian Hand Painted Cameo Porcelain Brooch/Pin of a Beautiful Young Lady. Up for sale is this beautiful, antique, Victorian brooch of a lovely young lady, delicately hand painted on porcelain.

It is quite large (5cm x 4cm) and is unusually square, rather than oval. This was given to me by a male friend back in the 60s and it had belonged to his grandmother. There is slight surface wear here and there, little scratches hardly visible to the eye, (when wearing) but under close inspection (see photos) you can see more, according to its age, but it is in good condition overall and is really entrancing! The painting in particular is so much more delicate than in many hand painted cameos, which I find quite heavy handed, in comparison. The lovely young girl is very delicately and finely hand painted on the porcelain and set inside a gold tone/filled/plate ornate twisted frame.

This metal could be in better condition (again please look at the photos), as there are tiny dents to the edges and where it joins the gap is a little larger than originally it was (see photo). You will find a number'22' on the back of the brooch, in the porcelain (see photo).

Really stunning in person as none of the little blemishes are obvious to the naked eye - you just see the lovely painting of the beautiful girl. It measures 5cm x 4cm. Note: We are cleaning everything and washing our hands constantly, so please know that we doing everything that we can to make sure what we send out is as sanitized and safe as possible!
