Antique Victorian Hand-Painted Glass And Metal Mantle Ewer

Victorian antique hand-painted glass and spelter or brass decorative mantle ewer. It is opaque hand painted glass with a lovely floral decoration. This outstanding piece from the Victorian era is taller than many from the period. The detailed base and top of the ewer appears to be brass or could be bronzed spelter.

It is a late Victorian piece probably from the 1890s. There are some wear spots in the top edge of the glass, near the top.
