Antique Victorian Hand Painted Japaned Lacquered Papier Mache Display Dish c1870

Here on offer is a beautiful antique Victorian hand painted Japaned lacquered papier mache display dish c1870. The elegant scalloped edged dish is supported by a pedestal base. Featuring three different gilt hand painted scenes. Partridges in a fan shaped frame, a landscape in a rectangular frame and a Geisha in a circular frame, painted around the outer edge with gilt and floral decoration with butterflies. This item measures approx 35cm in diameter x 5cm in height. The decoration has some wear and it has some minor surface marks. There are some minor chips to the edges and there is one small missing edge, this is not immediately obvious so does not detract from the aesthetic quality, please study the photos.
