The painting is an early Victorian, well done and vibrant. It is a lovely piece in good vintage condition with honest wear.

It measures approximately 1.75 "wide by 2" wide. It closes with a C clasp. The brass mounting has a patina consistent with age and use. Portrait brooches of this age do not often come up for sale. It has a few tiny scratches, which is consistent with age and use.
