Antique Victorian Minton Landscape Portrait Fish Brooch Cameo Gold Vermeil MOP. We offer for sale this rare and lovely antique Victorian hand painted fish ocean scene / seascape scene brooch signed by A. Painted on mother of pearl (MOP). Set in a Vermeil (yellow gold plate over solid sterling silver) mounting. Painting is detailed, well done and in good vintage condition, with minor wear, no crazing.

Measures approximately 2 1/8" x 1 1/4" inches. Painting is signed by A. Mount is not marked or signed. Painted on mother of pearl.

Cleaned, polished and ready to wear. Hand polished and is ready to wear or gift wrap. See photos or full description. Photos are taken under bright light and magnification. It is a rare brooch, I have seen only one similar it in the past 40 years.

It may have been a personal gift from A. Or he may have a of a limited number for Tiffanys. Wright was a Victorian period artist who worked for Minton. He / Minton made hand painted plates especially for Tiffany's from1880s to early 1900s.
