Antique Victorian Pansy Brooch Gold Sterling Silver Violet Flower Pin. We are currently offering for sale this lovely Antique Victorian rolled yellow gold over solid Sterling Silver Purple Enamel Pansy Brooch with Freshwater Pearl Center.

It is a quality piece in good vintage condition with very little wear. The enamel work is vibrant, well done and in good condition. The boarder has a lovely detailed repousse design around the petals. Pearl is in good condition, no scruffs, luster intact. Brooch dates to late Victorian Period/ early Art Nouveau person. It and is unsigned and unmarked. Most pins of this type if marked, were marked and signed on the clasp. The current safety clasp appears to be a replacement for the original clasp. Replacement is a well done antique / vintage replacement in excellent condition.

Pin is hand marked 1922134 on the back on the top petals and bottom, as was often done by early jewelers. It measures approximately 1 x 1 inches. We have gently cleaned it. It is in excellent vintage condition.
