Antique Victorian Porcelain Vase Hand Painted Murillo Painting Stenciled Pansies

Presenting an exquisite antique porcelain vase originating from the European region and dating to late 1800s. This wonderfully elegant classical piece is beautifully decorated with a hand painted central frieze featuring a detail of the 17th century Boroque painting "Children Eating a Pie" by Bartolome Esteban Murillo. The Murillo inspired frieze is rendered in a more uplifting colour palette and is beautifully framed within an ornate gilt gold border. The surrounding body of the vessel is finished in deep dark burgundy at the base graduating smoothly to yellow with clusters of stenciled pansies featuring atop.

SIZE: This impressive vase stands approx 215mms tall, measures 95mms in diameter at its widest and 45mms in diameter at the top rim. WEIGHT: This piece weighs 420 grams unpackaged.

CONDITION: This stunning vase is presented in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some light and fine overall crazing and some wear to the gilt gold trim edging the top rim as is to be expected with a piece of this vintage but in no way detracting from its beauty.
