Antique Victorian Portrait Brooch Cameo Painted Gold Hand Brooch Pin. We are currently offering for sale this lovely antique Victorian hand painted cameo portrait brooch depicting a young woman wearing a plaid tartan in a rolled gold mounting. The painting / cameo is well done and in good vintage condition with some tiny surface scratches, honest wear consistent with age and use/ Brooch is mid Victorian. Brooch measures approximately 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". It's closes with a rollover safety clasp, the pin and clasp are old additions or replacements, as it would have had it original C clasp but the previous owner opted for a safety clap more secure wear.
The mounting is in good condition with some patina consistent with age and use. It is unmarked and unsigned, clean, has some patina and it is ready to wear or gift wrap.
