Antique Victorian Portrait Brooch Cameo Painted Gold Hand Pin. We offer for sale this lovely antique Victorian hand painted miniature portrait / cameo portrait brooch depicting a young woman wearing a plaid tartan in a rolled gold mounting.

The painting / cameo is well done and in good vintage condition with minor wear, some tiny surface scratches, honest wear consistent with age and use/ Brooch is mid Victorian. Brooch measures approximately 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". It's closes with a rollover safety clasp, the pin and hinge are old replacements, as it would have had it original C clasp but the previous owner opted for a safety clap more secure wear.

The mounting has patina consistent with age and use back has some tarnish. It is unmarked and unsigned. It has been gently cleaned. See photos for full description.
