Antique Victorian Portrait Brooch Gold Cameo Lady Bird Hand Painted Porcelain. We offer for sale: this lovely antique Victorian hand painted cameo portrait brooch depicting a young with bird in rolled gold brooch mounting with twisted bezel and hand engraving / chasing. The painting / cameo is well done and in excellent vintage condition. The C Clasp, over sized pin date brooch to early to mid 1800's / early Victorian.

Brooch measures approximately 2" x 2 3/4" with pin x approx. The mounting is in good vintage condition. It has an old repair/ re-enforcement to metal under the clasp and possibly a hinge replacement. The pin length extends beyond brooch as was the style before approx. 1850, due to the thickness or women's clothing during the Edwardian and Victorian periods.

It is unmarked and unsigned. It has been cleaned and hand polished It may have some light patina and is ready to wear or gift wrap. See photos for full description.
