Antique Victorian Silver Hand Enamel Souvenir Cathedral Magdeburg Germany Vtg. We are now offering for sale this lovely antique hand enameled sterling silver souvenir brooch of Cathedral Magdeburg in Germany. It is known as the Church where the Reformation began, where Martin Luther refused to enter when he nailed his "95 Theses"needs for reform to the Catholic church in 1517.

On the door which began the Reformation. Christian, especially protestants have visited Dom, Cathedral Magdeburg, and carried with them souvenirs of their pilgrimages. This rare early and enameled silver souvenir brooch is in excellent vintage condition.

The brooch is in excellent condition. The enamel work was well done with attention to detail and has been well cared for and preserved over the years. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready to wear of gift wrap. It is unmarked and unsigned, so as not to take away from the focus on the Cathedral and the Reformation. The brooch measures approximately 1" x 1 3/4".
