Antique Victorian Silver Portrait Lady Brooch Cameo Choker Pin Hand Painted Rare. We are offering for sale this lovely rare tiny antique hand painted portrait brooch / cameo. The portrait/ painting is in excellent vintage condition, no scratches or chips. It is just the right size for wearing as a collar pin on a high Victorian collar or pin on a 1 inch lace or velvet ribbon choker. It is mounted in a silver plated mount with brass base metal mount. Mounting has a barley twist around the bezel mounted portrait plaque. Portrait plaque is French Victorian in the classic Limoges style. The painting is detailed, well done and in excellent vintage condition.

Mount is in good vintage condition with minor wear- silver plate has minor wear on edges of mount, and minor patina, oxidation on back. It is an estate piece.

It measures approximately 7/8" long by 3/4" wide. It closes with post construction or replacement hardware, later added, 1930's or early 1940's machine made safety clasp and hinge.

It is unmarked and unsigned. It has been gently cleaned. Pin length extends beyond mount, in the Victorian style.
