Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Hand Carved Shell Cameo Pendant Necklace 16. This is a beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver shell cameo pendant necklace. The cameo is hand carved from a shell. It is not a cast piece. The bezel setting includes a gold rope trim. The cameo is beautifully carved and nicely detailed.

The pendant measures 1 1/8 long, including the bail. It is 9/16" at the widest point and 1/4" deep at the highest point. It was found with a vintage but not as old sterling silver Rolo chain that is approximately 16 long.

The chain is likely from the 50s, the cameo from the late 1900s. In excellent condition, the chain is marked, and the pendant was carefully tested.
