This authentic, C1880, 8 3/4 antique OYSTER PLATE by CF Haviland Limoges has two clearly visible maker's marks on the bottom side. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or utensil marks. The heavy, hand brushed gold gilding on the rim and the zig zag design that crosses the top and bottom of the wells makes it quite unusual.

The bottom rim is excellent. The well's top ridges have rubbing but it barely breaks the gilding. See photos as they are part of the description.
