Exceptional Antique Victorian Hand Carved Shell Cameo Brooch

This is a fantastic whimsical hand carved shell cameo with the central theme of a cherub riding behind the man in the moon with a floral frame motif. The rare trapezoid shaped frame is hand made using silver filigree wire with bead work as well as a twisted rope around the bezel.

This piece is Museum grade carving and such a unique design that I cannot even get a match anywhere on the internet.
