Hand carved mid 19th century solid walnut Victorian secretary top / bookcase

This is the top of a Victorian secretary probably made in the mid 1800's. I bought it about 30 years ago, removed the old blackened alcohol soluble varnish and gave it good hand rubbed oil finish. I also found that too few shelves were included for my purposes, so I made a few additional ones and used it in my retail store to display cassettes, minidiscs, open reel tape and batteries. This cabinet features wonderful hand carved decoration and original glass.

It stands 84 tall WITHOUT the base, which is probably why someone separated it long ago. It's 56½" wide and 17" deep at the top and has 9 interior depth.
