Victorian Era Hand Blown Clear Glass Dome with a Black painted Oak Base. Measuring 14" tall with a base diameter of 13 1/4", it weighs over 10 lbs. The 9 1/2" diameter x 12" tall x 1/8 thick glass dome is in good condition with no scuffs or scratches. Dome has faint striated rings that can be seen when angled in the light.

There is some black residue on the edges which may have been from an old adhesive or seal. The round oak base has 8 1/2" diameter recessed step with a 5 1/2" diameter hole in the middle. The bottom of the 2 1/4 thick base has been carved with 5 tapered legs. It appears to have held a display item on a mounted base. Please look carefully at the photos.
