This portrait dates to the early to mid 1800s. It is a large brooch it measures approximately 1.75 x 1.5 inches. The gold has a lovely aged patina.

It is in excellent vintage condition. The painting is detailed, well done, and in good condition one tiny light surface scratch to the painting glaze at hair line, which is expected for a piece of this age. It closes with a C Clasp.
