Queen Louise of Prussia Brooch Hand Painted Gold Framed Porcelain Cameo Vintage

This brooch is a stunning piece of art that showcases the beauty of Victorian portraits. Excellent preowned condition and a superb addition to your collection or jewelry box! The handmade porcelain cameo features a delicate painting of a Queen Louise of Prussia in a Victorian dress.

Gold leaf painting adorns the entire circumference, framing the portrait. Brass backed with a C-style pin clasp. A lovely circa early 1900s porcelain pin.

Using a transfer as an outline, the image is hand painted so each one is unique and differs in quality of painting. You can see elements of the transfer as well as the hand applied paint. Curls of the Queen's chestnut colored hair frame her beautiful face.

The brooch measures approximately 2 1/2" in height and 2" in width. Just a few minor scuffs consistent with age, wear, and storage. See photos for the best description.
