A very good looking and well made piece, its rare to find bluster armchairs, they are usually on window seats, this style and design is heavily replicated by modern high end furniture designers like David Linley and George Smith. I have the matching sofa listed under my other items which is in green, I can have it dyed to match this colour if needed, for a quote please ask.
The chair has a solid walnut frame as you can see from the beautifully turned legs which sit on original porcelain castors. The leather is the original hide and is very thick. The seat base and back is fully coil sprung.
The chair has been fully restored to include having the old colour stripped back, its then been hand dyed this lovely deep tobacco brown colour. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
