Rare Antique Victorian Electric Hand Butler / Servant Bell Push Button Call. This servant bell push would have sat on a ladies side table and used to either summon or dismiss her callers. There are a few of these bell pushes out there, but this seems a very rare piece as I can find no theres with a hand and still the original cord. On the wrist there is a small bead which would have made the bell work. There are some signs of storage and a bit of corrosion on the hand itself, I have not made an attempt to clean it. Not sure if it still works as havent got the connection needed to make it work. It is quite a heavy piece.

Measures approx 11 x 5.5 cms x approx 5cms from the base to the top of the hand. This has come from a very grand estate that is being downsized so therefore fresh to the market , it could possibly have originated from Italy as the family did have connections there as well as the UK.
