VIBRANT ORANGE 19TH C CHINESE CANTON SHAWL W RICH HAND EMBROIDERED FLORALS. DATING TO THE VICTORIAN 19TH CENTURY. FASHIONED OF A VIBRANT ORANGE SILK THAT IS LAVISHLY HAND EMBROIDERED IN POLYCHROME SILK FLOSS WITH FLORALS RUNNING THROUGHOUT. ALL OF THE EDGES ARE TRIMMED IN HAND KNOTTED SILK FRINGE THAT MEASURES 24 INCHES IN WIDTH.

THERE ARE FOUR VERY FAINT PINHEAD STAINS AND A ONE INCH DARK LINE AS PICTURED JUST ASIDE ONE OF THE FLORALS. HAS A PERFECT APPEARANCE AND THE FLAWS MUST BE HUNTED FOR TO FIND.
