Victorian 18K Gold Hand Painted Courting Scene And Seed Pearl Mystery Pendant

Beautiful Antique Victorian Low Karat To 18K Yellow Gold, With A hint of Rose Gold, Hand Painted And Seed Pearl Courting Scene Mystery Pendant With Crystal Bezel. This mysterious 100+ year old pendant, from the late 1800's, may have been a mourning piece? At some long ago time. Part of the back of the piece appears to be missing.

This unique pendant tests at 16-18k on the front, but has soft solder around the edge, inside of the back piece, and testing varies from low karat to 18K gold on the inside edge of the back. Two seed pearls are missing in the front and there is a tiny flaw in the front bezel. Pendant measures 1 5/8" high X 1 1/4" across and the lovely unique bale measures 3/8" X 1/8" and weighs 8.8 grams. Pendant comes with a modern 18 sterling vermeil snake chain.
