Victorian Black & Gold Hand Painted Floral Design Lacquer Calling Card Case. This lovely black and gold lacquered calling card case is beautifully hand painted with roses, snowdrops and passion flowers. There is some wear to the gold around the corners, hinge and catch. The catch button feels very stiff so I haven't forced it. There has been a historic repair around the hinge, the lid sits slightly wonky & doesn't engage with the latch.
