Hand-painted on porcelain brooch in an intricately fashioned 925 sterling silver frame. This beautiful Victorian era brooch is from the mid- to late-1800's and is a painting of Ruth from the Bible. I don't know where it was painted, but the backing was likely done in the United States.

It measures 2" x 1 ¾" and weighs 32 grams. There are surface scratches on the painting.
