Victorian Starburst Pendent, Hand Chased 14k Overlays Gold Old Mine Cut Paste. Words cannot describe the beauty of this Victorian pendent, which is made of silver allow, with 14k gold & possible platinum overlays. At the center is an old mine cute "paste" (leaded glass) stone, which looks very much like a diamond. The craftsmanship on display is exquisite, with fine hand-chased details throughout.

The main body of the pendent is made of a copper/zinc/silver metal. On the front, the yellow gold parts are a 14k gold overlay (thin gold sheet laid over the base metal). The rays of the star might be platinum or white gold, but there was not a good place to do a test. The hidden bale on the back of the pendent is 9k gold or heavy gold filled material.
